I’m making my car game have a cel-shade’ish art style, and I want to achieve outline or cel on character and vehicles, however, I’m not sure how I should go about it.
I considered making inverted mesh but that would mean I’d have to do it for every accessories and vehicles, which is gonna be time consuming.
I then considered Roblox’s Highlight instance but they have a limit of 31 which isn’t too big of a deal since I can probably optimize the game to try to use under 31 highlight, even though I already plan to use highlight on many player and AI or important objects, but then there’s the fact I just don’t really like how the Highlight looks as outline because of its lack of anti aliasing and thickness option so… does anyone have any idea where I can go from here? or should I just use highlight?
