I’m making a house build and I’m not sure how I should make the floor. I’m going for a low poly style and not really trying to use textures.
If you aren’t doing textures etc. I’d just give the floor a bit of a darker colour(not too much darker). But probably something like a carpet would look better, even though it’s low poly

It really depends on, whatever works best to you low poly builds normally don’t feature texture as flooring there more made out of parts to create wood planks what you should do is try choosing a (darker brownish kind of color) I’m not sure it’ll work due to the amount of vibrant colors placed all over the place. Try to dim down the vibrant colors that’s only if your choosing a lighter color for the flooring.
In the image below is good to take while finding color choices or something in general choosing the correct colors Whilst you’ve already built the walls, I would suggest a mixture of different floor type colors.
Normally it quite depends on which style suits your liking, here is an image that I’ll attach to get a overall understanding on what I mean: if you look closely you’ll see it features smooth wood planks no textures just color from my understanding.

Making the a ceiling lighter color and the floor a darker color should help. Put a rectangle on the empty places of the floor to make a rug. Walls could be two tone as in the bottom half is one color, the top hald is a different color. When using flat colors / no textures, try to avoid large empty spaces, either add some elevation changes, furniture, rugs, or color changes.
