So I’m making a pirate game similar to Sea of Thieves on Roblox. I have all the mechanics scripted such as cannons and ships. Unfortunately, I’m stuck trying to figure out how players should earn money.
The basic game loop idea is as follows: Get money, Buy new ships.
How can I make earning money exciting and balanced? Should enemy ships drop loot when you defeat them? Should you earn money like in Bloxburg and A Pirate’s Tale by working job? Please give me ideas! Hopefully this topic can be helpful for anyone in a similar scenario. Thanks!
