How to Access the Explorer from Plugins?

Hello!

I’m quite new to developing plugins, and don’t quite know how to do everything yet. I’ve been struggling to find a way to allow the developer to be able to select things from the explorer in order to specify instances.

I have a button that, when clicked, should begin listening for what the next instance clicked in the explorer is, then save it as a container. This is in order for the plugin, a Model Placer, to be able to parent models to the most suited instance in the game so the developer doesn’t have to do it every single time they place a model.

I can’t find any documentation or tutorials on this, at least not right now. If anyone can point me to such documentation or tutorials that’d be great! If there are none, an explanation would also help.
