Hello, I have been wondering what are the best plugins for adding shapes such as rounded rooms to buildings? I currently find this hard to do using roblox studios, I have tried using the negate tool to make a dome but it really isn’t working too well, also it is pretty hard to round out rooms. Is there anything that will help get this done easier? I would really appreciate the support.
There are some shape models in the toolbox, don’t know if that’s what your looking for. Search up “Shape Kit” in the toolbox and you can find a lot.
I am mostly looking to add shapes to my building, such as a round wall that is sort of in a balcony shape, thanks for the help though.
Yeah, just looks for the shapes in the toolbox and fix it to your needs.
Another plugin for creating curves is the Archimedes tool by Scriptos, it swings the next Part joined at the corner by however many degrees you want:
Or you could use Studio Build Suite which allows you to put a part a certain distance from a central Part, copy it and then Rotate around the center Parts axis to make your walls. Then you can use the Resize center tools to make all the outer corners match:
Try using unions on your parts.
If you don’t know how to use unions here is a tutorial: Solid Modeling – 3D Modeling With Parts
You can always try using free models as some may have utilised a 3D Modelling software if you cannot currently use a modelling software.
The grand component of unions is that you can use it to expand on your current selection of shapes which I believe you will find useful.
However if you are still unsure I will enclose a brief tutorial on how to make a dome.

Good luck mate.
I tried using unions but have trouble changing them into rooms.
What do you mean by ‘changing them into rooms’
Care to elaborate?
I am talking about using them for the actual shape of the room, I can do things like add circle windows to walls but I have trouble making a full room or half a room out of unions.
Yes, I presume it’s a measurement issue as unions have a tendency to muck up the sizing of builds which can be rather frustrating.
I’m still rather confused however by what you mean by ‘making a full room out of unions’.
I mean actually using them to make the buildings not square, I can use them to make walls but it is hard to use them in making a building.
This is because the collision for unions is often inaccurate. To combat this, try using the plugins @Scottifly linked to create unique curves
Ah, okay.
So you want to try and make a circular hole in a square slab of flooring or walls.
If you’re negating and using unions it’s probably best to do them after you’ve completed all of the mainstream building.
Otherwise resort to the plugins @Scottifly posted.
And although I use Unions for all sorts of shapes in my builds, I don’t usually use them for solid structures since they aren’t always the shape that they seem. The hollow sections usually aren’t actually hollow unless you take a large portion out with your negations.
Another plugin that helps see Unions as they are really shaped, you can use the Studio Settings>Physics>ShowDecompostionGeometry route but it is much slower and you have to change a Property of the Union for the change to show up:
