How to add multiple characters into blender?

So I have been using a blender plugin called paint rig, in the plugin I can do stuff with the character but I only see the option to import one character, does anyone know how I can add in multiple characters into the plugin? Or should I use a different blender plugin? If so, please tell me about a plugin you might know of or use for blender character renders.
