How To Advertise With A Low Budget

Hey, Developers! I was wondering if I could have some opinions on getting others to play my game if I don’t have much robux to do it. In fact, I only have 11. If you have any experiences with advertising, investing, or sponsoring with extremely low budgets, it would be greatly appreciated!

There are some methods for cheap out there such as:

  • Social Media Posts
  • Friends
  • Earn money then spend on ads

Over all I’d just buy Robux with real money rather than having pretty much zero Robux for ads. Maybe get like 10 bucks worth of Robux for ads.

You Can’t Do Much With 11. There’s no point in using it for sponsors, ads. My advise is to save up that 11. For People to play your game i’d just advise as a start you play with your friends and get them to invite their friends, & Sell Gamepasses/Dev Products So You use that income to advertise.

Thanks, I will consider these options - they seem incredibly useful for helping a game get its first visitors!

I would recommend getting Premium if you think your creation has potential. Think of it as an investment.
You will get more ROBUX off your sales, a bunch of ROBUX to start off as well.
Another smart thing to do would be to find an investor, someone who is willing to give you a few thousand ROBUX that you can use for advertising.

Good luck!

An option;

Try organizing events with friends or people to let them take part on your project, etc.

And for sure, join places like Group Recruiting Plaza ( GRP ) to advertise your game or products.

One day, you might organize a project as a team to introduce these to others without even thinking too much of advertisement.

Some Vibe Games succeeded even without Roblox advertisements at all - simply by fitting the hyped genre while the project looks professional!

I’d also like to agree to @Salinas23 as purchasing premium 1 month guarantees you 400 Robux while you got perks such as better gamepass earnings, uploading shirts, and so on.

A good idea would to see if you have any close friends that are rich in Robux and willing to invest several thousand Robux in your game. Keep in mind that asking for investors on devforum is NOT allowed! You have to do it somewhere else.

Another great way and popular way to earn some Robux is to make a “money grab” game like alot of developers do when they first start out, so they can get several thousand Robux to help with their future big project. When I mean money grab, I mean like those “grinding” types of games where it simply takes a while to earn cash and advance to the next stage/item, so the player will be tempted to buy some gamepass/dev products.

I like the idea of the “money grab” game you mentioned - would a simulator work?

you can’t advertise with 11 tobux

Yes, those types of games are exactly what I’m talking about. It all comes down to the way you design it, you need to design it so it takes a long time to get the next item/tier/level but you also need to make it so the player doesn’t get bored.

11 Robux isn’t a viable amount to advertise. I recommend saving that 11, and buying or getting more Robux so more people can see your ad. Either buy Robux, or create a “money grab” game where you can earn 1000 to 2000 Robux, depending on how well you make it. An example of this are simulators or tycoons, where it isn’t that hard to get “good” at the game, so people can buy gamepasses and Dev Products. Good luck! :happy3:

Not to be harsh, but simulators cost thousands upon thousands to create, they will cost you tears and precious time, it isn’t an overnight situation with getting a Simulator and judging from your ‘‘11 robux’’ buget ( does that even have a dev ex value??) you will most likely not be able to afford creating one, Unless you can do:

  • graphics
  • scripting
  • building
  • modelling
  • be above average at game management
  • other features

Your best bet for a bigger budget is buying robux via irl methods,
