How to animate tool / move welded parts without breaking the weld?

Hello, I’m trying to animate a tool / weapon. It is not a tool in the backpack,It’s just a welded model. I want to make it spin or do some animations for when you attack or inspect the weapon.

How can i move the weapon without breaking the weld or messing with the C0 of the weld, I don’t want to make it more complicated than it should be.

Here is a video of what I have so far with “Weld Constraint”

It moves relative to the world, not the arm, which is what I want.

Have you tried Motor6Ds? They work well with animations.

Rig your model with Motor6D’s. You can use them to animate practically anything.

I tried that, but I think the way my model is it’s not possible. It’s only 2 parts that are welded together.

It’s always possible. Try connecting them with Motor6D and WeldConstraint at the same time.

So you mean i should rig my model to be a “character” so i can actually animate it, or?

And how should I connect it to my body, with the motor or the weld constraint?
