How to automatically anchor new spawned in parts?

Is there any possible way for new parts spawned into the workspace to be automatically anchored?

I keep forgetting to anchor my parts and it usually gets annoying and repetitive. Is there a plugin that anyone knows or maybe it’s already a feature and I just didn’t know? If anyone has an answer, please tell me.

To my knowledge, there is no setting in Studio that does this. There’s likely a multitude of plugins that could do that, but there’s a much simpler option that I used for years:

Just make use of uploading free models with the part(s) already in the most common state that you desire (assuming you’re not in any need to upload a bunch of models and/or keep excessive models in your inventory). Works great for me. Though admittedly it was a bit better organization-wise back when sets were a thing… oh well.

I really wish this was a setting on Studio as well, as a Builder I occasionally forget to do that.

There isn’t a way if you spawn the part from the ‘New Part’ option at the top, however if you duplicate an already anchored part it’ll be anchored automatically.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll consider this as an easier way of spawning in anchored parts.

Agreed, I hope the Roblox team will eventually install an update like that. :c

Maybe you could create a Feature Request!

I don’t wanna be the bad guy here, but I doubt a feature request about that will get off the ground. It’s something every builder has put up with for years and years, and adding a little something just to edit 1 property of 1 Instance doesn’t seem concerning enough for them to change.

Now, if memory is the concern, there is actually a feature in Studio that can show you which parts are anchored and unanchored at all times (it’ll require you to quickly restart studio upon enabling the option).
