Hello!
I’ve come into a bit of a pickle. I need to build houses in ruins, but I just don’t know how to go about creating them! I don’t know if I should use blender or use something on Roblox Studio to help me. What do you think?
Here are the ruins I was hoping to use as inspiration:
Blender. This would probably give the best effect, if you wanted a low-poly look this can be achieved. If you wanted it to be smooth or detailed, this can be achieved. I’m guessing as a builder, you’d want to build it all yourself fully, and blender gives you a lot of flexibility. I would recommend blender.
Studio. Technically this could be done in studio by using unions, but may not look as good as in blender.
I think you should stick with using Roblox studio, but import your own textures onto your selected parts. I do believe creating models in Blender and other 3D modeling applications are better for game-optimization, but I still prefer to use Roblox studio with my own imported textures. If you want to go for a more realistic look as well, you could do Blender.
