builder or modeler
if you builder you need to know roblox studio with some skills from Blender

if you modeler you need to know so many things from Blender :art:

it always starts with inspiration;
find something that you know you will be able to stick to
and always take your time with building because building takes patience

technical skills of building is one thing yes but, in the long run, i’d say these deeper things will make you build for a longer time to where you’ll be able to broaden your skills more as you learn and master different techniques and styles that will be unique to you

So the key to good building is researching what you want to make, and basically using blender. Blender is free to use, and really helps you out when building.

Unions are ur friend when it comes to building

Depends. Never use a lot of them.

In my opinion Blender is faster and easier than unions.

I recommend starting with Youtube tutorials from builders like RoBuilder, who have plenty of experience working in low-poly and cartoony styles, and from there you can easily figure out how to make more detailed builds if that’s your goal.

For smaller things no. Bigger things yes.

SO if you were trying to make a rose you’d use unions?

Practice makes perfect! Use reference images for inspiration. (:

Find the style that suits you and practice. Reference images are also good if you want to put some new knowledge you acquired to the test.

Focus on details and use the tools at your disposal. That’s what I do and builds turn out great.

Unions are bad. They are terrible for performance. You should just make what you need a union, then export it to a mesh, then import again. And boom, mesh made in studio.
