Hey Im trying to create a group with a specific name but it is sadly already taken by a group which had its last group shout in 2009. Do you guys know some sneaky way to bypass this? (Or can i get that other group deleted somehow?)

If there was a way to do this public on the internet, you’ll see many groups being deleted for no apparent reason.
There isn’t a way to bypass a “Group name taken” error. You’ll just have to find another group. The purpose of this system in the first place is to prevent impersonators of popular groups, or just make searching for specific groups easier.

There is no method to do this, I’d recommend a new name idea.

Well i dont know this seems kind of pointless since there is no name restriction to games either

As of the time being there arent any methods, however you can use invisible letter such as " á… " (copy and paste it and try it in a group name.) I got this trick from the group Coast owned by @Vamonoz , the real Coast group name was taken so they used this same invisible letter to get the same name, and It shows up as the 1st in search results too!
Yeah Ive tried adding special characters too but when I try to use yours for example, I get an error saying “Unknown error”. When I look at the console I can see the error code 500 (Internal Server Error) which probably means that they either: 1. Blocked special characters from passing the name check or 2. Roblox simply did an oopsies and I have to wait for them to fix that
It seems like the second option was the truth, I was able to contact roblox and they have resolved this issue as of today. You are now able to use unicode characters to create groups again.
