How to Change ChatWindow Transparency?

What do you want to achieve?

  • I want to make lower the transparency of the ChatWindow.

What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!

  • There is no way to set the transparency using StarterGui:SetCore(...)

What solutions have you thought of so far?

  • I tried to directly edit the chat scripts, but I couldn’t figure out how to change the transparency.

Is it even possible to change the transparency? If so, could some please direct me on how to do so?

You have to change the fade-in transparency of the window and chat bar. Here’s a video tutorial of how I did it:

Sorry, this was from two years ago. I have no recollection of what I did back then. I don’t even remember if I got it to work.
