So I’ve been with my game but since I have a character system which if the player dies he doesn’t reappear at the checkpoint but in the void I think it’s because of my character system (what I want is to change the position of a lever functional ) try it in your studio to see if it works please since I tried in many ways but it doesn’t work before you tell me something try it in the studio please
That can happend because there’s something wrong on your script, you need to show your script so we can help you.
We can’t just create a script and put it here for you for 2 reasons:
1 - It couldn’t don’t work on your game, because we don’t have any information of it
2 - You can’t ask for full scripts, just parts or to fix something in your script
So show your script that isn’t making it work and we see if we can fix it.
This needs to be given a bit more detail, we need some sort of visual to know what you are wanting to do. We don’t have any clue really what you want because your explanation is not the greatest.
if you don’t know how to change the CFrame position, thank you very much, you don’t have to say that my theme is wrong. Also, at no time did I say that I needed a complete script, thank you very much.
because it wouldn’t work in my game because in my game I don’t use any script that changes the player’s position that happens is because in my game the character is one that I put but not the player’s character therefore the checkpoints don’t work for that character The only thing I need is to know what property I should use and I do know what CFrame is but I need to know how it is used and what part of the character I should refer to and it is also that IN THE SUBJECT IT SAYS THAT YOU GIVE USEFUL INFORMATION if you knew about the subject and the scripts or character store system etc… you don’t need to know what the explorer is, also if I show you my script or my explorer it is possible that you will really help
Of course, I know you don’t understand, but it’s because you only have 3 “SOLUTIONS” and that is if someone really is going to help, help with the little they understood.
I don’t quite understand what it is you want. My impression however is that you want to teleport a player. The easiest way is to just call :MoveTo(vec3) on the model the character is in. You could also change the CFrame of the humanoid root part directly if you wanted.
this is trying to help, that’s why they say: he who knows knows
