How to change the background of your profile picture on DevForum

Hey Developers! I’ve gotten ask this question many times:
“How do I change the background of my profile picture like yours?”
So I decided I might as well make a #resources:community-tutorials!

I used an accessory from Maingag, you just need to have it equipped on your avatar when you log into DevForum.

Make sure that you have equipped the item, logged out, and then logged back in. You can now un-equip the accessory.

The final product should look something like this:

I think this also works on the normal Roblox website. Anyways, great tutorial!

Yes, it works on the Roblox Website, however, it would only show up when you’re wearing it.

Imagine there was an actual feature on the DevForum where you can change the background for free and use whatever colors you want. Anyhow it works this way as well :+1:

I’m defiantly gonna try this, should be cool hopefully.

Doesn’t cover the whole profile icon like I hoped, but it still looks cool I guess

Are there any tips you have to make it so that it covers your background completely, like do you have to wear a specific package or tweak the scaling a little?

Eh, the price will scare a few away, hopefully this becomes built in

The scale is based on how high your hats go above your head, so change up your hats

The standard background is transparent, so people shouldn’t notice. It really depends on the avatar, some have to be zoomed in/out on more.
