How to convert 4k image to 2k image?

So basically, i’m trying to upload a 4k normal map texture for my pbr wall. But the image is so big, (about 30mb), so i wonder is it possible to downscale it to 2k for a smaller size.

But roblox can upload it with auto degrading to 2k

i dont know but the size of the map is 30mb, when i upload it said " [Images Failing to Upload : “Upload failed. Make sure what you’re uploading is an image.". I read some posts and someone fix this by use a smaller size of the image.

i mean downscale it to a smaller disk size, not to a smaller image, and it is .png btw.

I read in a tutorial to download the image as a 2k image or even as a 1k image to begin with… and they linked this site:

It is not possible to reduce file size without degrading image u will have to reduce resolution. If there is issue coming try jpg format as it have some reduced file size

seems like the max file size is 30mb!
