How to Create a KJ 20 Dropkick Move in Roblox?

Hey fellow developers,

I discovered not long ago that the owner of The Strongest Battlegrounds made a KJ moveset and thought it looked really good.

So I was wondering how would it be possible to actually do a move like the 20 dropkick and would love some advice.

I was wondering how should I go about animating and scripting this move to make it dynamic and engaging?

Specifically, I’m curious about:

Animation: Should I use the animation editor or CFrames to animate it smoothly?
Scripting: Tips for scripting the move to apply force, do the animations and detect collisions accurately. I know I could use some kind of velocity but I’m kinda lost on when and how to use it efficiently.
And last but not least Effects: How would I apply VFX to this system? For instance when you run or when you hit the kick.

Any insights or examples would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Not trying to be rude or anything, but I’m pretty sure this goes to Scripting Support…

Oh it does? I thought because it wasn’t explicitly talking about scripting it wouldn’t go there. My apologies

I need the answer to this too I would really appreciate it

They probably used Moon Animator for the animation. I think they used the camera features in Moon Animator to make some cool cinematic cutscenes. They might have also used markers to add some nice effects. Would you like me to explain how did they script?
