How to create an effective ad

First of all, I know this question has been asked a lot before so sorry for that but I’d like some new opinions and updated responses as times have changed.

I recently have been testing out running ads and sponsorships, and find that my ads get terribly low CTRs.

My square logo ad got around 0.08% and 0.09%. My banner ad got a CTR of 0.25%.
Square Ad: flexyourspeedad
Banner Ad:

I know these ads are not that great, as I did not work very hard on them, but I thought they would be decent, but I guess I was wrong.

How can I get a higher CTR, how can I make my ads more clickbait? I heard people saying to just put celebrity’s in your ad, is that something I should do? Should I try to incorporate trends into my ads? And if so, any ideas on that?

I also want to know peoples opinions on which ad type is best, as recently square ads worked the best for me, as they get 3-4x the amount of impressions as banner and skyscraper ads, but their CTR is very low. Are skyscraper ads worth it even though they have the lowest impressions?

Another question I have is what days are best for running advertisements, as well as, what is a good amount of impressions per robux?

Try making something eye-catching to people instead of just a game title?!

I think if you put your main game mechanics and make it into an image would be more effective than just a game title with a sword, especially when its a fighting game or some sort, but i do like your ads rn, 500x better than the other “Pleading”,”Begging”,”Faking Youtuber star” ads

Yea I figured that, do you have any suggestions?

Well it really depends on the audience your trying to advertise to…

Try using bebas or cunia as the font, they work very well for eye-catching ads. Also, remember that red, yellow, and purple-ish blue colors are the most attractive to the eye and hold the user’s attention.

How would this do? Would it get a good CTR?

Very nice, but would suggest making the white outlines a bit more anti-aliased and make a drop shadow with 100% spread on all of the layers. From there you have to be a bit creative with adjusting the right amount of shadowing size, distance, and opacity. Also, same thing with the shadows, they should be anti-aliased.

Also, what software do you use? Do you use photoshop?

Yes, I use photoshop. I’ll also use drop shadows and see how it looks.

Alright, just remember whenever you apply white highlights to an object, that same object requires darker spots (shadows) as well.

Also, I’d recommend for a purple background turning down the opacity of the white outlines, to give it some depth of field.

Yes, think of what a player would think when they saw that ad. A lot of the time Including limit items re good, high quantity but not overdone effects also work.
