How to credit things not appropriate for Roblox

First of all I want to say that I’m not sure where this fits in the #help-and-feedback category, please correct me if I’m wrong.

  1. What do you want to achieve? I’m trying to decide how to credit a certain source I took inspiration from for my game. (The name of that source contains a swear word) I’m not sure how to credit it.

  2. What is the issue? obviously swear words aren’t allowed on roblox, so I’m not sure what I can do.

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far? Example: My MADE UP game “Eat a lot of cheesecake” is inspired by the MADE UP show “I f-ing love cheesecake”, in this example I could:

[1] change it to something child friendly (I flipping love cheesecake)
[2] hashtag out the inappropriate part (I ####### love cheesecake)
[3] remove the inappropriate word (I love cheesecake)

Please give me your opinions on this.

You could always credit the creator instead of the property you’re trying to credit.

Considering inspiration doesn’t require credit, why not just not give credit?

There’s very little you have to credit but, there’s no reason not to credit people, especially because if it inspired you to make a whole game you probably enjoy it.
