How to decrease Ambient?

Hello,
I’ve recently changed my Ambient and the skybox. The game looks a lot better now but some grey parts /buildings are really purple now (the ambient is purple/pink). How can I decrease that effect?

I’ve tried replacing the skybox and it worked but then the whole game looks bad again.

Isn’t the outdoor ambient property purple? I believe you can change it something more white.

The Outdoor ambient will change according to the Ambient property.

Oh thanks that works. But now the whole game is really bright

I want this nice looking purple effect but i don’t want the grey parts to be that purple. Is there anything I can do? Because if I make it white the purple effect is gone

Try changing some RGB values, as an example, instead of changing the ambient’s color to 255,255,255, we could make something more random like 247,243,251, this way, the outdoor ambient will change too.

^^

I believe some cool effects like the ColorCorrectionEffect would be useful!

Yes this works but now its again pretty bright

Once i set the colorcorrection to purple everything is dark like nighttime. Brightness, contrast, saturation don’t change anything

I know what’s going on.

The Technology property is doing all this mess up, try changing it to Future or ShadowMap, shadows will start to appear, and decrease some of the brightness.

NOTE: If you want to remove shadows from specific models, check the CastShadows property on parts.

I sadly cant change the technology because all my buildings will be hella bright then (shadows don’t change that)

Oh, okay. :+1:

What about you follow the same steps as the first reply I sent, and then decrease the brightness in the Lighting service? To something like 2 or 1.5
