Hey, I’m rolo, I will be showing how I do my GFX and my methods. If you have any feedback or questions you can just ask me. So starting off I use blender 2.9+ to make my renders, as well as the Eevee, render engine simply because it is faster and has more graphic options. Assuming you already know the basics of Roblox gfx I will try to pace through the basics. You can use any rig you like but I personally use Paint Rig V3. Starting off open blender and import your rig,
You should see here that the rig is purple, to change it to your characters texture click on the head and scroll into texturing and open up your file as shown in the picture
Once you have your texture, scroll down to the specular and roughness. This is how I get my reflections when I import an hdri.
Turn specular to 1 and roughness to .35. That is all for the character, now for the HDRI you can visit hdri haven and pick up an hdri that offers a lot of colors and lights. Depending on the theme of your scene. Now for once, you’ve gotten your hdri, go into shading and switch the tab to world
Press CTRL+A or CMD+A on mac to open up a selection tab. Search “Environment Texture” and press enter.

Plug the Environment Texture into Background, and press Open and select your hdri. From this point, you can switch to the render view. Now if you press 0 on your Numpad it should put the view into the camera. Go to Output Properties and change the Resolution Y from 1080 to 1920, this should give the camera for height.

Once you have the camera setup, press Shift+` to fly around the area. Position the camera wherever you want your character to be noticed.
You can now pose your character, I will skip this section because the pose can be whatever you want. I also forgot to mention that I also put the specular and roughness to 1 and .35 on objects you want to import. If you import an object and the move tool is not directly on the object.
Right-click go to Set Origin, and click Set origin to geometry
Once you’ve got the object into the rig’s hand, you can parent the object to an attachment inside the rig. To do so drag the object and hold shift and drop it into the attachment on the side of the hand you want it in.
If positioning the tool into the rig’s hand is difficult as shown.

Go to the top bar on the screen and select “Local” instead of global This will make it So the move tool is local to the object’s orientation (instead of being globally in one position)

Once you’ve finished posing, navigate to the Render Properties. Turn on Ambient Occlusion, Screen Space Reflections, and bloom. Leave SSR’s and Bloom’s properties, but change Ambient Occlusions Distance to 2m, and Factor to 3. This will give the scene more shading.

Once you’re done fit F12 or Render Scene and wait.
And that is how I do my GFX. Thank you for reading and if you have any questions you can just DM me rolo#1111.

Note: If your character’s texture is too smooth, go back into texture and play around with the numbers shown.
