When I ad in a part on roblox studio it makes this weird texture with lines instead of a solid color.

Check the properties of the part or if there’s anything inside the part. The properties to check are the ones under the appearance tab in properties. Else, it could be a texture or decal affecting it.
That happens when you go to view and have the line scaling for the view. You can just do grid lines for the lines instead of the full on one.
