If you mean something like this, then that just increases the brightness of the image like the neon block instead of the desired light effect:

I’ve tried this too but can’t get it to work. When making the angle < 0.5 the light will just disappear completely unless the range is increased dramatically. Could you send a model example of how you did this?

I made this quickly by using an ImageLabel behind the painting:
It still has “unlit” frames, but that could probably be solved using another ImageLabels (or light that would only reach that far).
One issue with it that I’m not sure how to fix appears when you look at it from the side:
