How to get a hollow curve?

Hello everyone,
Good (time of day.) I was wondering how to get a hollow curve, like you’d see on the inside of a can or on a curved roof. I was wondering if this could be done, and if possibly without exterior things like meshes.
Thanks,
Bac

You can try creating a union with cylinders:

If something like this isn’t what you’re referring to, you’ll have to provide me with an image or two since I don’t understand your explanation.

Hey, thanks so much!
I was thinking more like this: image

In that case, you could start out with the shape created with the union from my previous reply:

Then I would suggest you use a Part to create another union, in which you remove half of the current shape:

You would need to scale the first cylinder to an appropriate size before you start creating unions, however.

Why not with Meshes?
There’s probably one that you could use in the Toolbox, in the Meshes section.
Or like @souppression said you could make it a Union with all the side and end walls in it.

Thanks for that, I’ll try it out! Out of curiosity how would I do it if I wanted a more angled one?

I really don’t feel like learning blender at the moment, I might soon but I’d prefer to use parts currently.

If you get a free Mesh from the Toolbox you don’t need to learn Blender, you just resize the Mesh to whatever size you’d like.

This all depends on what you mean by a more angled shape, but you could use wedges or other parts to create the shape you want. For example:

It would definitely be worth your time to play around with unions at some point. For more complex shapes where meshes aren’t the most appropriate solution, I would argue they are essential.

Hey! Theres a plugin called " Archimedes Two (v2.4) - Roblox"

It’s a really good plugin! You can make easy curves with it!
Hope this helps, .

If you dont want to use blender, but also dont want the corruption of unions, use unions to make the shape you want, export it, and reimport it as a MeshPart.

Yeah I’ve tried that but it doesn’t really make much sense to me lol, I don’t really know how to place the blocks with it and get the curve. Thanks though!

Try looking up a tutorial. You can scale a part to be very small and put x, y or z. You can also change the rotation angle thingy. Smaller angle, more smoother.
