How to get an invite link for a non-VIP server to send to other people?

How can I get an invite link for any server for other people to join?

I am not talking about VIP servers that utilize “privateServerLinkCode”.

I am talking about any server that isn’t VIP. The “Share Invite Link” button doesn’t do anything, not even sure what it is supposed to do, maybe it’s only for private servers I don’t know. For that question I’ve created another thread.

What’s this button supposed to do? [image] It doesn’t do anything for me, nor does it copy a link into the clipboard. I was trying to figure out how to create invite links for public servers. There have been some threads but I’ve tried to create a link but it doesn’t seem to work at all.

But because methods like these for the invite link Join specific game server via url? - #29 by addictedroblox1414 do no longer work

Not sure what paramteres roblox:// protocol has, looking for help.

I mean one option is to send an invite through in-game, I guess. But that’s not a link and you need to be friends with the other user. The other option is to enable “Everyone” in the settings, for joining, but that’s still not a link.

Press the generate part and copy the link created from the left part

so you don’t need to add people, people who click on this link will automatically join you

well some call it VIP servers, some call it Private Servers

You’d probably need to tap into the Roblox API for this. However, you could detect if they went into a VIP server and then teleport them to a reserved server, where you can access the “Access Code” and allow other users to join.
