How to get highquality pictures

Hello,

So I made a picture in adobe photoshop with a resulotion of 7600x7600 and the frame for roblox studio is 76x76 but it still is a low qualty picture. But when I scale the frame in studio it does get better.

The model is made with blender and I wanted an pic from it for my inventory.

Please help me with this!

Can you elaborate and show pictures… i would imagine scaling down a high res pic should keep it looking good not worse.

The image does get better but it still kinda blurry.

I see what you mean… is this a jpeg or png? Also try to keep it the exact same ratio as it was made, if its a perfect square ratio keep it as such. Lastly, make sure whatever ui you use, to check off AlwaysOnTop, helps the clarity.

The ratio is critical, so if you need to change its dimensions away from 1x1 then crop the image instead or alter it out of studio then bring it in… changing its aspect ratio in studio will usually make it less sharp.

Its an gif image. Should I change it to png or jpeg?

png is ideal… and either way the text wont show at the icon sizes just fyi.

Btw the image in photoshop already isnt a high resolution pic:

I just changed it to png and this is the result:

Ohhhh when you said it was 7600 x 7600 i pictured it super high res lol… ok well then its not bad for roblox, but yes you have to keep it the same dimensions so keep it 1x1.

Edit: one sec i will try it on my end.

Ok your issue is the scrolling frame and the image label… you dont the right build settings on them:

Edit: i can even read the text clearly on mine.

How would I fix this and how do I even get it more sharper? Do I need to resize the model in blender or…?

No show me your hierarchy like mine is shown on the right… then show me the scrolling frame properties, specifically the size and position, and same for image label.

The frame where the imagebutton is inside:

The imagebutton:

the scrolling frame:

Ok i see you have UI Constraints, ok lets see if this quick fix will help… change the SizeConstraint on the image button to Relative YY.

Hmmm here is mine:

Edit: let me ask u something, the button is in a frame that is in a scrolling frame?

It does looks kinda better but it still isn’t really sharp. Should I try resizing the model in blender? Scale it down.

so the frame that holds the button, change that one also to RelativeYY. That frame is within the scrolling frame correct?

Yes the imagebutton is inside the frame which is inside the scrollingframe

Yes so both the frame and the button need to be changed to RelativeYY or RelativeXX… they are carrying down the aspect of the scrolling frame which isnt a square.

Edit: no i dont believe you need to change your image at all, esp since it is crystal clear on my end.

Roblox only supports photos with a resolution of up to 1024x1024 px
