How to get my game popular with no ads

A Thing you can do its talk to your friends about the game, publish it in your server,yt or other social media and use tags in the description

When you make a game, you almost always need ads or sponsors to start it up. Even if you only spend 1,000 ROBUX, you can get a small fanbase (I recommend using sponsors rather than ads). Unless you already have a fanbase from a previous game, you should probably spend at least 1k on sponsorships or ads.

I’ll be honest here…usually games will fail, even if you spend 100k on sponsorships like the guy you mentioned. Personally, I’ve had about 19 failed games, and I’ve probably spent at least 115k ROBUX on sponsorships. It happens. It’s apart of every ROBLOX developer’s career on the platform.

If you absolutely have no ROBUX to spend, then you will probably need to search for investors. A good way to do this is on the Developer Forum!

If you can’t find investors, then you must find a YouTuber that can make a video on your game. This can make your visits SKYROCKET.

If none of these options work, then there really isn’t another way to get your game popular. You could try advertising it on Twitter, putting a bunch of tags, mentioning popular users, etc, but again, the best way to make a game popular is sponsorships, so I suggest before you even start developing a game, you have at least 1k ROBUX saved for sponsorships.

In summary, you should probably do these things in order. If you can’t do one, do the next one. If you can’t do that one, do the next one, etc.

  1. 1k R$ on sponsorships.
  2. Twitter advertising (mention a lot of people, use a lot of #)
  3. Find a YouTuber.

If you can’t do any of those, then you probably won’t be able to get your game popular.

Remember, I have had over 19 failed games, and I have wasted 115k R$. This will happen a lot in your developer career!
