How to get players?

I am tired of trying to get players, absolubtly tired…
I’ve made around 7 Professional projects.
Along with the scripting and building…
Why is it soo hard to get players?
I advertised 10K Robux, and still couldn’t do much

It’s a fun game: [🔥 DUETS!] RoTok Simulator - Roblox
Why is it SO hard to get players?
why do games pretty simple and basic has 300+ players…?
I don’t get it!!

Word needs to get out about your game., that’s all. You currently have 22 players on your game, and it was only released yesterday, that’s nothing to be ashamed of.

What is your marketing strategy?

So how much do you spend on ads?
and how much you spend on sponsors, and on what device?

Its a really good game but the tutorial is really short. And some people in the chat said they had NO idea how to play due to the tutorial being short.

It also depends if the UI fits EVERY device.

I spent 10K On ad’s, 5K on banner, 5K skycraper,
@D3V_Pop
Ui fits all devices.
And on sponsor did 1.5K on all devices.

You should maybe put 100 on each, and wait to see which one does better, so if the Banner does better and maybe tablet, then focus on putting most of your robux on that.

Also what would the horses really DO? The maps not that big and I can see the entire map.

Maybe it is because of the stereotype that TikTok has, I personally hate tiktok and most of the people I’ve met in ROBLOX were haters of it.

The UI doesn’t fit all devices. The buttons are quite small for my Samsung Galaxy 9. Also the notifications can’t be seen. As well the shop menu that appears after tapping the shop button, those images are hardly readable. The text during the tutorial also keeps resizing which is a bit annoying and not easy to read while text is being written out. The one thing I didn’t know right away is that I had to equip my phone to record. Before I did that, I kept clicking on record and the song and it didn’t do anything.

The build is nice but I have to be honest, I see this more of a fad game. I see players getting bored of it quickly and moving onto the hundreds of other simulators.

What can you recommend me to make player not get bored?

I played the game for a few minutes and instantly got confused, the tutorial didn’t really help and I didn’t know I had to equip my phone. I didn’t see anything about it talking about equipping your phone. I’ve seen lot’s of people walking around without the phone and just leaving afterwards. I suggest you make a better & longer tutorial.

Will do, and sorry for that experience, fixing it ASAP.
will make auto-equip!

It’s fine! The game is good overall. I also suggest in the future adding daily quest, it’ll make people stay longer. :+1:

I’m not too sure since it’s a simulator. I have played simulators which I had fun with and they were addicting but I played them once and never went back. It’s like Cookie Clicker, it’s fun and addicting at first but it just gets repetitive and you question why you are up at 4 am.

Though with this game, I didn’t play it long but it feels like I click a few buttons and watch my player do an animation and I get subscribers. I’m guessing if I keep doing that, I get more subscribers and I can upgrade my phone to even get more. I’m also assuming more subs mean more money income. It’s not obvious of how you earn money. Also the prices for everything is so expensive when I just got $230. It kinda demotivates me because I’m just repeating the same two songs to just earn money to get more content if there is any.

I checked out the place briefly on mobile on an iPhone 11.

Somethings I noticed regarding the UI is that it was extremely small, which can make it harder to interact with the UI. Especially the notifications were tiny and hard to notice.

I noticed that within the shop that the items were not sorted in order of price, which can be rather confusing at a first glance.

The horses store has both a horizontal and vertical scroll bar, and the buttons instead were not scaled very well making the text hard to read.

Various text elements within the robux store were either truncated or way too small, meaning I could barely see what was on offer and a lack of information on the products.

You have to physically equip your phone in order to interact and “record”, instead of it being equipped by default or any form of disabling of the record button until a phone is equipped.

Will make UI’s bigger, it’s still weird, due to I re-scaled UI’s for all resolutions, maybe outdated server.

Something else I would like to note is that when you click buy on an item in a shop and you don’t have enough money, nothing happens. There are also other instances where nothing happens when you click on something like when trying to record without a phone.

I would show something to the player instead of having nothing so the player knows. It also could be a way to monetize with showing “You don’t have enough money. Buy some here” in the shop. It’s better than showing nothing.

Also in the inventory, the equip button still says equip when you already have it equipped. When you click it again, it unequips which could be confusing.
