I’m aiming to get the effect on the left where the lights seems like a true spotlight. My attempt was on the right, it looks somewhat like a spotlight, but it doesn’t have that light-like effect that the light on the left has, and it looks more like images, especially when it clips through the floor.
I think the spotlight effect us made out of:
-
cone mesh
that have alinear gradient
textures on it’s sides to get the effect of an “actual” spot-light. - A
cone mesh
only with a transparency-adjusted property.
But I agree on the first bullet because as the spot-light stretches the color of the lights becames transparent also. So it must be a gradient.
This is only my opinion, correct me if I’m wrong.
