With Roblox making audios private and seeming like they want to go that route with more developer assets in the future, is there any way to give an individual the ability to upload/edit assets without the need for a developer role?
The reason why I don’t wish to make a developer role is because doing so conflicts with the structure of the group, which is a war clan. Developers in the group are not given HR responsibilities and the ability to mess with things outside of their jurisdiction as developers, while not all HRs are given asset access. This leads to an issue where if a HR is a developer, we have to either give their whole role edit access (which we want to avoid because not every HR in that role is a developer or is trusted with our facilities) or move the HR down to the developer role and not allow them to fulfill their HR abilities. If a non-HR is a developer, they have to be ranked up higher to the developer role.
The only other solutions I have come up with would be to deal with constantly moving peoples ranks back and forth depending on what they need at the time, having people create alt accounts, or not allowing people who want to develop for the group participate in the classical hierarchy of our war clan. I wish I could give an INDIVIDUAL different permissions the same way we can give to entire roles.
If anyone is aware of any features that could be used to do something similar to this, I’d appreciate your feedback, otherwise it seems we’ll have to deal with creating alt accounts and giving those the developer role.
