Hello DevForums! I was trying to create a thing that spawns a part at the mouse when the player presses the R key, and to get it to face towards the part, almost like a bullet hole sort of thing. I tried casting a ray towards the position, but it spawns the part way off and does not stick to the wall like a bullet hole.
I don’t see why the ray won’t give a reliable position and are you able to provide any scripts
^ The ray should return an exact position of where the ray hit on the part as well as even returning the part

what do you mean here, what is the part you are talking about?
Try searching ‘bullet holes’ with the search tool up top.
