How to guide Players through a mission?

We are developing a series of missions for a expansion which will see the game world substantially increase in size. The mission objectives can be scattered far and wide around the map. There are no pointers to show players where to go and how to complete their objective apart from some location hints in each action to be completed (ie head to TV Tower).

I am concerned that if a player can’t find the objective easily they will leave, but I also don’t want to make it too easy with a giant sign saying “HERE”

In Vesteria I have noticed these use scaling overhead UI, other use beams to the final destination (which I use in the game Tutorial) and then there is the option of using a simple direction arrow.

How do others help guide the player around? Which do you think is the cleanest and non-condescending method?

for example think that you are on a desert and you saw palm tree you will go near palm its not matter that you have reason or not in your game make the way bold… i mean make something to point to the destination for example if you want someone to climb a wall make trees around it but dont hide the wall behind them and make some dirt path or etc to the wall so they know there is something there
