How to Improve the Gameplay of My Game

My game currently focuses on survival after a plane crash, but I want to make it more engaging and fun. While it features quests such as hunting bears for wood and building zip lines, I feel it could benefit from additional challenges and improvements.

I would appreciate any feedback on how to enhance the gameplay experience. The game is called “Survive Flight 871,” and you can check it out here: Survive Flight 871.

Thank you!

I have played your game (it’s really cool) but it’s too easy. It fees unrealistic that a helicopter just arrives with stuff every day and doesn’t pick you up. Also, me and a friend got to a point where our inventories were filled with stuff (multiple miniguns and thousands of food and water) So yeah, maybe make it harder to get loads of materials.

It actually got to the point that my frame rate was in single digits.

Alright, so first impression was the UI. The UI is… interesting to say the least. I’d say that improving the lobby would be more appealing, although this could be a nitpick. The rock climbing is highly stimulating though.

Alright so I’m in the game and the UI retains the same quality, and the crash landing seems fairly unrealistic.

I just found the bottom of the map which is a baseplate just by going into the cave? I’m not a builder but maybe change the baseplate to a rock material just to have a “bottom of the map”.

I just opened the crafting UI, and why do most things require wood? Most unrealistic being the gun, radio, water maker. There’s also a lot of gamepass-required things.

My UI just started overlapping, I opened the gamepass and crafting UI and they’re both visible.

Not too hard. Just maybe reduce the helicopter’s frequency.

I’m in a plane with random people and what is the plane suppose to do to benefit us? We’re just flying aimlessly into the void atm…

alr i tried to add metal but it diden’t go that well mabye i just added it a bit to hard and mabye sould be more clear like when i added metal you needed to go to another place to trade wood to metal but mabye that was to hard idk how players should get metal tho

To sum it up:

Game is lacking in quality, retention isn’t amazing (since most people are already gone), there’s essentially useless gamepasses, game is pretty unrealistic.

I completely forgot about lighting, you have the default Roblox lighting which generally makes the game look worse. Changing the sky, adding ColorCorrection, and changing Lighting service settings would be so much better for the game’s quality.

nah getting wood from bears is pretty weird. but about the trading how would i add that? like a npc that trade food for wood where a plane just crashed seems a bit weird

hmm how would i fix retention children don’t care if its unrealistic right?

Well, people are dying 24/7, animal spawn rate is crazy.

Also I have something else to note, I’m in an infinite loop of dying. (This is most likely because I continued earlier)

Kids don’t like grinding for things. They prefer to use their mother’s credit card for an easy win than put in effort. Survival games and retention from small children don’t mix well. (Look at Minecraft, most young kids play creative)
