How to improve UGC texture quality on R6?

Hello. I am a beginner UGC creator with 5 UGCs on the platform so far. I love the pre-R15 roblox accessories (as they made my childhood) so I aim to make my accessories fit the style. But one thing I’ve noticed is the texture quality of the accessories on R6 characters. I’ve read several posts related to it and I know that there is no solid solution to this problem. But there are ways to decrease the severity of the issue:

  • Making Textures in 256x256
  • Optimizing UV Maps

Are there any other solutions to decrease the severity of the problem?

I think the problem is Roblox hasn’t changed the way R6 loads in textures.

Yeah, its caused by the way R6 characters’ accessories load.

Try making the texture resolution something to like 1024x1024 or 2048x2048 pixels

The resolution becomes horrendous after R6 rendering, thats why you have to resort to using 256x256

I noticed that in some bundles the textures are high quality in R6 and low quality in R15
