Since the game I worked on submerged being picked up by the new roblox sort algorithm, a lot more players have been encountering our game icon, however from a bit of research we also have discovered people are sometimes being turned away from it.
So, I ask, how can we make more people click the icon?
Both personal opinions and professional statistical opinions appreciated.

I don’t see why someone wouldn’t click on it, Maybe you could add one of those fish with the light behind the writing, I am not qualified at all to tell you this though, it does look good.
Add a main character to the icon or something, in my experience, players dont like to read pictures, they are more drawn to colors instead of text. For example, murder mystery 2 has perfected the game icon style, almost 0 text and only a godly knife/gun in the icon to attract players to said rare item in game as if they dont have to spend like 5k robux to get it lol
I feel like you could maybe put some more in the background, feels like it’s missing something. Put some items in there that appeal to the people on the roblox platform. Like some very colourful fish.
Personally, I’d add a draw factor to the icon, to catch the viewers eye, before they focus on the logo, and find out what the game is.
Remember to make it within the focus range of the logo, to not distract users when glancing, or causing them to miss the logo. Also, if you add something, make sure it relates to the game, so people will become familiar from it, not just recognising it from advertising.
