How to insert player characters and pose them without causing mass lag?

Hello forum!

Yesterday I’ve encountered an issue, when I want to pose my handmade humanoids, I don’t know any other way than to ungroup it, if I do that to the hand or feet, the shirt on it disappears. It is very inefficient to make poses like this therefore I’m trying to ask for another option!

The case is worse for plugin imported character humanoids, not just the arm and feet becomes default skinned


Whenever I ungroup a plugin imported character, it’s hat and accessories becomes unselectable, and then ALL my meshes on my baseplate disappears and regenerate. That causes mass lag, could it be the plug-in’s issue or was my method wrong? The plugin is the free version.

I had this same issue. Its because you are not supposed to ungroup Characters, weird stuff happens.
I recommend holding Alt and selecting a part, that way whenever you want to edit something in a group, you can access it like any part in the workspace.
