I’m trying to create a mostly realistic looking flame out of the end of a rocket nozzle.
The problem is the fast moving particles can only have a rate of just so much, meaning there are large gaps in between the flame particles.
The expelled gas from an engine is stupid fast irl, and recreating that feels almost impossible and might be why I have never seen it done right before.
Ive tried stacking multiple particle emitters on top of each-other but couldn’t space them out properly and up-sizing the particles means it doesn’t look right.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not much experienced with particle emitter so I may be wrong, but one solution you could do is maybe make the particle image longer.
Another solution that I’m not too confident would work is to just make the life expectancy longer.

More emitters placed in sequence will fill the gaps.
I’d suggest trying out Trails.
They’re incredibly easy to use.
The Trail only works when moved, but if you don’t want the moving version, there’s also Beam.
Sorry for the late response, this solution works perfectly!

now I have to make some more precise emitters to remove the textures sticking out of the nozzel in the back, and itll be perfect.
