How to make a image label back ground transparent

Hi all
I wanted to make a Ui using a image label where it tells you need to press F to turn on the Flashlight
i downloaded a so called transparent image of google of a simple flashlight logo.But when i try to put the background transparency of the image to 1 nothing changes.

I was wondering if some of you could help me out .

It’s most likely that the image you downloaded isn’t transparent? Also, note that it has to be PNG and not JPG (as I know, only PNGs can be transparent).

it is transparent as i searched “Flashlight logo transparent” and dwnload the image form there
even the file explorer name says ‘Transparent’

The name doesn’t mean anything. Here’s what you did (I think);

This is what you downloaded, thinking it’s transparent (but it’s not, it’s just a preview).

This is an actually transparent image.
