How to make a item collect quest system

im making a goofy horror game and theres an npc, and idk how to make so that theres a dialouge of him asking if we can get an apple for him, and theres 2 choices: ok, heres ur apple. if u say ok, he just says go get the apple ( ive already done that ) but for the heres ur apple choice is where idk how to do it, so what i want is that when u choose heres ur apple, if u have a tool called apple, it will destroy that and the npc will say thanks, but if u dont have an apple, he will say wheres my apple? also if possible can u tell that once he takes the apple and says thanks. then he says " in return… run" , and 3 seconds after that, a killer spawns somewhere specific
