How to make a placement system for tower defense?

i am now making a tower placement system for the game, but all of them are broken, first, mouse module, i tried to use it but i could only filter 1 thing, second, raycasting, but i am not very familiar with it, and it was not finding any part, btw i was using mouse.Origin.p and mouse.hit.p for raycast, how would i make a placement system with actually working filters?
