How to make a Twitter Verification System

I basically want to make a Twitter verification system

As some games give you an extra item if you follow them on Twitter so I want to know how to make that ??

Do I have to use an API or is there another way. I searched on the web to find a tutorial on how to make that but I was unable to find one.

You will need to use Twitters web API. You can find Twitters API here Use Cases, Tutorials, & Documentation | Twitter Developer Platform.

I am not familiar with Twitters API so you will have to find the method you want.
