How to make an image go behind another image?

Hello, so I am making a UI button, and when you hover over it, the eyes go invisible, and then I want to have another frame behind it that will change colors (rainbow).

The pink part is the bit that will be rainbow

So how would I make the Rainbow Part (pink part) go behind the original button (the superhero)

have you tried changing the zindex to above the rainbow button?
