How to make an object appear through fog?

I’ve been working on a horror game, and i wanted to make a cool effect on a giant hospital where some windows are glowing and you can see them through the fog. I found a post from 2019 about how to do this effect using beams, but it didnt work. I also tried with SurfaceGUIs with “AlwaysOnTop” enabled, and it worked, but you could see the windows through other parts, which i really dont like. Does anybody know how to create this effect?

Not sure but with the beams you need 2 attachments somewhere and a beam connecting them. I’ve found out if you make the beam follow the camera view. Then you can see the beam and edit it. Sometimes I can’t see the beam while connecting them between the 2 attachments maybe this can help you.

I can see the beams, just not through the fog. The reason why you cant see them sometimes is because of the orientation of the attachment.

I’ve noticed that when using Atmosphere as fog you can see particles through it

doesnt seem to work with beams or neon parts

Don’t think this is possible without doing some hacky technique. I don’t know what you did wrong, but when I use atmosphere, beams are seen through it pretty well.
