How to make blender cutscenes with multiple characters and items

How do I make cutscenes from blender with multiple characters + items then import it to Roblox? Sorry If I’m beating a dead horse here, but I cannot find anything related to this at all. I’ve searched far and wide found nothing related to this at all besides one player cuts censes. Would appreciate it if anyone could link a tutorial either dev forum, or Youtube.

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Tutorials on Youtube, dev forum, scripting multiple animations to play at once.

Specifically I know how to get two rigs into blender, but Idk how would I export them and play them within game.

Maybe you could follow a tutorial on how to make one player cutsenes and then another to play multiple animations at the same time.

There is a way to animate 2+ rigs at once but that involves adding all animated objects to the same rig.

Maybe these will help?

i’ve wondered if i could just put entire cutscene scene into blender and then just export it after animating as 1 single rig, and then just upload cutscene animation itself to it. I’m not sure how to achieve that but that’s only i could think about. Doing all animations for each character individually is not looking as a best solution for me rn.

Best solution is just to import two rigs and put them both into pose mode so you can animate them at the same time. Then export them individually, make sure both of them are on the same position though so in your script you can just teleport them to the same position to get the normal animation.

Some helpful guy said this to me and it helped.

"If you’ve animated with one rig before then follow this guide below. If you don’t have experiencing animating in Blender and importing to Roblox I suggest you look up a tutorial for those first

Basically in Blender just make a copy of the rig and animate normally. When you make the copy, don’t move the second rig in object mode. Make sure you enter pose mode first THEN move the rig, or else the default pose will be read wrong when importing to Roblox. When it comes time to export to Roblox, here’s how it goes:

In the Blender explorer you’ll see that there’s two rigs, but one of them is named the same but with every part having a “.001” at the end. Just export the rig’s animation without the numbers first, and once you’ve imported that one into Roblox Studio, go back to the Blender Explorer and just rename the parts of the other rig by simply removing the “.001” from all parts. Once you’re done that one essentially becomes the rig the plugin will read. At that point just hit export and import to Roblox Studio.

Once both animations have been imported you can import both into either the Roblox Animation Editor or Moon Animation Suite and "

Also, once you have all the animations import both of them to moon animator then use Moon animator editor to make the Camera’s move instead of trying to use blender since I haven’t found a method to make that work. Once you have the animations and exported the camera just teleport the rigs to the same position then play the camera. Here’s the dev forum post that helps with it.
