How to make holes in objects in blender

I am writing this post to know how to make holes in an object in blender. Making holes largely affects the modeling quality and number of contracts received by a person as it makes the models more detailed. Actually some of models including guns require holes so thats why i need to know how to make holes in blender.

You can press the I key on a face to make an incision into it and then you can use the E key to extrude or intrude it.

I tried extrude but it makes an in body hole but not full hole to the other side. But i will try it with incision.

Use the knife (or do loop cuts) to make a face where you want the hole on both sides of the object. Then delete the faces and fill in the faces on the side of the hole.

Use the Boolean modifier. Boolean Modifier — Blender Manual

There’s plenty of info on Blender-specific wikis and forums, please ask Blender-related questions there in the future - you’ll get better and more accurate info in those places.

You can use Boolean Modifier but it ruins the Topology most of the times but that wouldnt be a huge problem if ur doing low poly.

Just use the boolean modifier in blender, very simple modifier that cuts into objects. Sometimes it can go wrong, so if fast and exact don’t work, just use fast and delete faces and make new ones.
