How to Make Part Absorb More Light

Hello everyone,
I am making a house and want it to be dark on the inside, so i created a roof, but you can see it has an annoying amount of light at the top of the walls

Even though the roof is about 5 studs deep, a lot of light gets in. How can I change this?

From what I have heard this is an engine issue you cannot do much sorry OP!

You can reduce the Lighting.EnvironmentDiffuseScale property, or thicken your walls
