How to make particles spread flat

Im trying to make the particle spread differently than what i have here, but i cant figure out how.

I want them the particles to spread outwards, but not upwards. Is there a way to accomplish this?

try changing the EmissionDirection to Front, and the SpreadAngle to 0,360
