Hey guys, it’s agKing here and today I’m asking a question about how to apply an effect in which the character is losing balance after it has been hit by ball in the case of a Throwing ball game that you have to avoid getting hit how would someone attempt to make an effect in which player would lose balance once the ball is getting hit.
Solutions Tried so far
The solutions I’ve tried so far is ragdoll, however when I do ragdoll some parts are just passing through other parts like the baseplate which is not what I want.
Also sometimes when I ragdoll it’s like I’m breaking unnecessary joints in which I don’t need to break. Like when someones loses balance some of the legs tend to flip in the air and the arms tend to backward in circle because it’s getting farther from the center of gravity.
Or the effects can also looks like my game thumbnail in which when my player gets hit in the chest a.k.a HumanoidRootPart the whole body gets the impact and the leg seems to forms a V and the symbole over the head above is a telling that the player is not feeling alright after the impact
