I have a cape that I modeled in blender that has an armature and all of that jazz. The problem is, I’m trying to make it an accessory so it’ll stay on the player’s back. It seems that since it’s basically a rig, it can’t become an accessory. I’m sure many people have attached their skinned mesh to a rig done before, but how did they do it? I’d prefer to make it an accessory, but I guess I’ll settle for welding it if I can’t find a good solution.
I added a player to a horse by making a rig with both player and horse. I have not messed with capes, but you could try that route.
