How to make Surface Appearance Glow

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    i want to be able to make my surface appearance textures glow

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!

    i tried putting a neon part under the surface appearance part but if i do that i have to make the surface appearance transparent which defeats the purpose of me having it

Unfortunately, Roblox does not currently support emission maps or anything like that. An alternative however, is using SpecialMeshes and setting the vertex color of the mesh above 255,255,255, which will give you the glow effect you’re looking for. This method does not come with the benefits of SurfaceAppearance, so go with whatever works best for you
